I don't typically endorse making things up...But I believe that we all have enough experiences in our lives that we can put them together and make a story that is true

Last Update From Greece

Only 1 more day left in Greece. Haven't been doin much, except hangin around Athens. Today went out to Cape Sounio. Tomor goin out to Aegina Island

These are all pics from Cape Sounio, where basically all they have is the Temple of Poseidon and the Temple of Athena (which as entirely in ruins)

Sad, they even have graffiti near this ancient treasure in the middle of nowhere

Update from Athens

Us on the Acropolis

The always construction going on Parthenon

Theater of Dionysus

The miniature Temple of Zeus

Panathinaiko Stadium. This is where they had the first modern Olympic Games. It is the only building that is all marble besides the Parthenon

Stoa of Attalos at the Ancient Agora

Athens is a beautiful city, but it does have graffiti everywhere you turn

Changing of the guards at the Parliament Building. The high step walk does not make them look too intimidating

Athens - Day 1

I've been in Athens for a little over 24 hours now. Still adjusting to the time zone difference, so woke up early and decided to put a few pics up.

The apt. Not too bad. It's got 3 beds, kitchen, decent bathroom. Only downs are no laundry machine and these old school locks on every single door and cabinet.

Didn't do too much the first day. Just got familiar with the area. We're about 15 minutes from the center. Since it was Sunday, a lot of stuff was closed, but this is one of the "cooler" areas. Has a good market and some nice places to eat and sit outside. The weather has been amazing. Went out in shorts the first day. It probably got up to the 70s.

All aboard the Happy Train

Greek beer. Wasn't the best, but beats Korean beer!

Dinner - $2 gyros. Amazing.

Next up: Acropolis
